Summary: Rats, rats, it's always about rats, isn't it?! Don't get us wrong, there's nothing pleasant about the thought of a bunch of crazed gnawing omnivores coming at you. But people certainly seem to be fascinated at the thought of these things coming in the thousands...

History: In a secluded lab in New York, rats have been tested with some special plant elements for science's sake. All it did was give us hordes upon hordes upon hordes of psychotic rats that now lurk below the city. And when they come out, they come in droves...

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Eventually, all of the rats are lured into a room rigged to explode. It's raining dead rodents soon afterwards. However, it is later shown that not all the rats perished...

Powers/Abilities: They all spread the Weils Disease.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-We would certainly like to be more scared of a rat swarm made of hundreds of these hungry monsters. But the sad truth is that the CGI oftentimes used is completely bad, and rats are still a little too cute to be scary.

Trivia: -Weils disease is a rather nasty infection that can lead to bleeding of the lungs. And fittingly, it's most commonly carried by rodents.

-In an unfortunate coincidence, this film was meant to be released right on 9/11. But then the terrorist attacks happened, and not only was this film delayed, but any scenes with the twin towers were cut.
